This doesn't look very exciting, but it really is a fun stitch.
2013 marks the 20th anniversary of my diagnosis of breast cancer, so this year I have decided to stitch up all my cross-stitch patterns celebrating my survival from this terrible disease. When I was diagnosed in 1993, 1 in 9 women got this dreaded diagnosis. Twenty years later, it is now 1 in 8. Here's to all the beautiful women fighting the good fight.
Blessings to all the people going through this awful disease and those who have survived and those who have left us. Your stitching honours them.
